HARRY GEORGE TO COMPETE IN BRITISH GT WITH OPTIMUM MOTORSPORT

Harry George joins Optimum Motorsport in the Mclaren Artura competing in the British GT GT4 championship

Harry George is back for his third year in the British GT GT4 Championship, joining Optimum Motorsport in the McLaren Artura. Teaming up with Luca Hopkinson, they are determined to fight for the championship title.

They finished seventh in the overall standings and fourth of the Silver crews in what was Hopkinson’s first season of British GT after spending two years racing Ginetta Juniors.

Returning to the McLaren—the car that kickstarted his journey—Harry is ready to make this season his best yet. With Optimum Motorsport's expertise and a strong partnership with Luca, this duo aims to dominate the field.

This is my third year in British GT now. The first year was difficult with some unreliability issues and last year much improved with more regular podiums. With Luca in his second year, a car I know well and a front-running team, I am optimistic we can run at the front of the grid this year. Can’t wait to get going. - Harry George
